Place an Approval on Hold, Edit an Approval

Coordinators of an approval have the ability to place the job on Hold, as well as make edits to the approval after it has already been released to team members for review. Placeing a job On Hold prevents review team members from leaving comments on the approval.

  1. From the main ERA table, select the Hold/Edit link from the Actions column. This will open the Edit Approval page and send a notification to review team members that the approval is On Hold.
  2. The Coordinator can now edit various areas of the approval, including the Due Date and Team Members.
  3. When edits have been made, the Coordinator has the option to Save the approval, which will keep it in an On Hold status.
  4. The Coordinator can also select Release, which will make the approval Active and re-open it to review team members for comments. A notification will be sent to team members notifying them that the approval is available for signoff.
